The Columbia Residences - The historic Columbia Hospital for Women, prominently located in the District of Columbia, has been transformed into a luxurious mixed-use facility (residential and retail). The original 1915 Italian Structure is positioned between two new nine-story towers and above two levels of below-grade parking. Cardno’s expertise played a key role in solving the distinct structural challenges presented by this complex project, including the preservation of its landmark status.
