BMC Software Corporate Headquarters - Cardno utilized the pre-construction services of the general contractor to develop cost-efficient structural systems for each project phase. Designed to give the appearance of two different buildings massed together, the 20-story Phase I office building has a curtainwall skin on one portion of the façade and precast concrete on the other. The façade of the 6-level garage sits outboard of its cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete system. The design of Phase II complements the original facility — the 9-story office building is clad in a unitized curtainwall. Two 6-level parking garages, a 6-story visitor conference center and 21-story office building comprise the final phases — also designed with compatible finishes.
