Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Office Building MP6 - The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) campus is constantly undergoing change. New buildings are constructed and existing ones renovated or restored to better serve the needs of JHU APL’s clients. Cardno was pleased to be part of the design team for a 6-story, 260,000 sf build-to-suit office building located at Montpelier Research Park in Howard County, Maryland. Building MP6 is designed to be flexibile to accommodate future change and compliment the main buildings on campus. The facility is comprised of laboratory/research space, conference areas, and offices. The structure is entirely above-grade and utilizes a steel framing system.
